Join OrangeMite Studios this summer for the organization’s fifth original musical, “The Adventures of the Mysterious Tigerman”. Nearly twenty years in the making, this show will undoubtedly be OrangeMite’s most powerful yet! Written by William Wolfgang and Jesse Rupp (the minds who brought you “Heavy Lies the Crown” and “Starcross’d”), this show combines Rupp’s knack for song writing with Wolfgang’s story and characters, which he starting writing at the age of four.

This show is for all who dreamed of becoming super heroes as children, and for those who still aspire to be more than they are. With child-like wonder, a moving story, and gripping characters, “Tigerman” brings the excitement of Hollywood’s superheroes from the big screen to your local stage. This production is truly an unprecedented theatre event for the York County area, and is not to be missed.

SYNOPSIS: A young superhero named Star vies for a better job within The National Hero’s Association, his profession. Desperately trying to impress his mentor, Tigerman, he contemplates the true meaning of his role as a hero within society. Difficulty grows for this company of heroes when the line between old enemy and new friend becomes blurred, and their enchanting world becomes nothing more than shades of gray. This inventive and unique take on our society’s fascination with heroism is accentuated by large scale production numbers, daring fight scenes, chilling ballads, and upbeat jail-break dance numbers.
