Theater
In the summer of 2008, in a quaint barn in Dover, we produced our first original musical, In The Globe. At the time, we were not an official organization, but after the great success of the show planning quickly began. In January of 2009 we acquired official non-profit status in the state of Pennsylvania.
In May of 2009 we produced the popular Shakespeare show, As You Like It. That summer we produced our second original musical, Laugh Clown, Laugh. This farce comedy was a hit in the community and its world premiere was a very exciting time.
This May we performed the Shakespeare show, The Comedy of Errors as part of our 'Shakespeare in the Barn' series. This summer we will be producing our third original musical Heavy Lies The Crown, our largest production to date.
Although theatre is our main form of outreach, we are unique in that we have departments in art, media, and music as well. Be sure to check out the art galleries of local artists on our website and our music recitals performed each season locally.
