The purpose of Music in Our Schools Month is to raise awareness of the importance of music education for all children – and to remind citizens that school is where all children should have access to music. Music in Our Schools Month is an opportunity for music teachers to bring their music programs to the attention of the school and the community and to display the benefits school music brings to students of all ages. 

OrangeMite Studios is proud to work with the Dover High School Music Department to further its mission of continuing to bring arts education to our community.  OrangeMite Studios is a nonprofit community arts organization that fosters both theatre and music groups in the greater Dover Area.  In 2010 and 2011 the Dover Community was selected by the National Association of Music Merchandisers as one of the top 100 Communities for Music Education in the United States because of the hard work and dedication of its students and music educators. 

Both the Dover High School Music Department and OrangeMite Studios are preparing for another exciting year in the community.  We look forward to your support of these programs!
