Laugh Clown, Laugh
Laugh Clown, Laugh is an original musical written by Dover natives, Daniel R Stief and William Wolfgang. It made its world premier on August 14th 2009 with a cast of twenty-two from the Dover community. It was directed by Caitlin Spivey.
This musical farce takes the audience backstage before the premier of Leoncavallo’s Pagliacci. Arthur Barrows, director of the Dover Area Opera House, tries to pull his crumbling show together before certain opening night disaster. Every attempt he makes to get the show ready in time is thwarted. A nervous drunken tenor, a murder, and improperly cut sandwiches all contribute to the chaos.
Laugh Clown, Laugh will be available on DVD in 2010. The soundtrack will be available in fall 2009. These items will be available for purchase at OrangeMiteStudios.com when they are released.
