William Wolfgang - Executive Director/Orchestra Conductor
Mr. Wolfgang graduated from Millersville University in 2010 with a degree in Elementary Education with a minor in music; prior to this he graduated from Dover Area High School in 2006. While at Millersville, he studied brass with Dr. Mark Sheridan-Rabideau and Professor Matthew Brown; and studied cello with Professor Laurie Reese. Mr. Wolfgang is currently teaching 5th grade in the Central York School District. In addition, he is the Associate Director for the Dover Area High School Marching Band.
An avid tubist, cellist, and pianist; Mr. Wolfgang is also an enthusiastic composer, writing pieces for full orchestra, concert band, small ensembles, as well as solo piano. His works (including full orchestrations for musical theatre) include: Mosaics of Humanity (2005), Twenty Solo Nocturnes for Piano (2008), In The Globe (2008), Laugh, Clown Laugh (2009), Heavy Lies the Crown (2010), and Nocturne (2011). Mr. Wolfgang resides in York.
